Cambridgeshire-based Hire or Buy Group has taken delivery of a new Isuzu N75.150(E) from local dealer Arlesey Car and Commercials. Featuring specialist dropside bodywork, the versatile rigid builds on a long-standing relationship between the two businesses that has spanned more than a decade.
Replacing an older truck supplied by another manufacturer, the 7.5-tonner joins a 12-strong mixed commercial vehicle fleet that now includes Isuzu models spanning the manufacturer’s full weight range, from 3.5-tonne Grafters to 13.5-tonne F-series rigids.

Working in collaboration with bodybuilder BL Searle, this latest 7.5-tonner is mounted with a bespoke-built dropside body designed to securely transport Calor Gas canisters, with additional storage and capacity to carry a range of specialist tools and plant available for hire.
The truck has been supplied with a three-year unlimited mileage warranty as standard. Hire or Buy Group will also receive support from the Isuzu Truck UK’s Customer CARE team for the duration of the warranty period. All repair and scheduled maintenance work on the company’s Isuzu fleet is carried out by its local dealer, Arlesey Car and Commercials.
Operating on local delivery routes within 30 miles of its main base in St. Neots, the truck will be used to carry out deliveries to customers of all sizes, ranging from small home projects to construction sites and factories. It will be on the road six days a week and is expected to remain in operation for around eight years.
Established in 1974, Hire or Buy Group provides around 400 types of plant and tools for hire, as well as a wide range of products for sale to the building trade from its three locations in Biggleswade, Huntingdon and St. Neots.
