SCHMITZ CARGOBULL SPREADS SERVICE PARTNER NETWORK INTO NEW HAULAGE HOTBEDS

Schmitz Cargobull has expanded its Service Partner Network into four new areas in the north of England, significantly boosting its expert trailer support coverage.

Evans Halshaw DAF in Leeds, Sheffield, Birtley and Stockton-on-Tees will now provide operators with support for their Schmitz Cargobull trailers along the busy A1 and M1 corridors.

Customers can now access more than 60 approved Service Partners located in UK and Ireland’s haulage hotbeds, with all teams specially trained in repair and maintenance of the manufacturer’s equipment.

Steve Vincent, Head of Aftermarket, Schmitz Cargobull UK and Ireland, says: “We are expanding the Service Partner network to make sure our customers have access to highly-skilled, high-quality, professional support wherever they are.

“We will continue to invest heavily in the network to make sure we have comprehensive coverage for our customers.”

Service Partners cover a range of services including mechanical servicing and repairs, body repair, and refrigeration service and repairs – all to the same standard as the manufacturer’s in-house engineers.

This means operators can have servicing carried out by local, trusted independent workshops while being confident their trailer is being kept as if it was factory-fresh.

Companies that need OEM parts for their trailers can also order them directly from their local Schmitz Cargobull Service Partner workshop. And with the extensive stocks available, operators could benefit from same-day collection.

Vincent says: “No-one wants a trailer off the road for two days while they wait for genuine parts – and now you don’t have to. You simply contact your local Service Partner, place your order and then you can either collect direct or request delivery and get back on the road quickly.”

All an operator needs to do is supply a trailer chassis number and the Service Partner will be able to provide precisely the parts required – regardless of whether the trailer is new or second-hand.
