PETERBOROUGH, England, June 2, 2025 — Phoenix Marine will exhibit at Seawork 2025 for the first time, marking a new phase of its recent partnership with HyDrive Engineering. The company will present a range of HyDrive steering systems on stand G10, where it will be joined by long-standing distributor Southern Cross Marine.
HyDrive’s Australian-made steering systems are renowned for their precision, durability, and performance. Manufactured using high-quality materials and advanced hydraulic technology, they are designed to reduce steering effort, enhance manoeuvrability, and improve safety across a wide range of vessels – from five-metre fishing boats to 200-metre commercial ships.
Phoenix Marine now offers the complete HyDrive range in the UK, including:
- Manual hydraulic steering for outboards, inboards, sterndrives, jets, and catamarans;
- Power-assisted hydraulic steering for vessels from 10 to 200 metres;
- Electronic fly-by-wire steering for superyachts and commercial applications.
Whether engine-driven, electric, or AC-powered, each system is supported by Phoenix Marine’s expert guidance, professional installation, and tailored service plans.
Elizabeth Noles, Director and General Manager at Phoenix Marine, commented: “We’re proud to bring HyDrive’s world-class steering solutions to Seawork 2025. This collaboration allows us to expand our offering to commercial boat builders and operators, delivering the control, reliability, and support they need on the water.”
Will Meddick, Owner and Managing Director at Southern Cross Marine, added: “Seawork is the ideal setting to showcase HyDrive’s robust steering systems, which are engineered to meet the demands of commercial vessels operating in tough marine environments. We’re looking forward to engaging with operators who value precision, reliability, and long-term performance.”
Visitors to Stand G10 will have the opportunity to explore Phoenix Marine and HyDrive’s latest innovations and speak directly with representatives from both companies.
