JET EXCHANGE EMBARKS ON AMERICAN ADVENTURE

Jet Exchange has secured a series of approvals permitting trans-Atlantic travel for discerning clients.

The jet management and charter business has secured approval from the US Department of Transportation and the Federal Aviation Authority to conduct commercial operations. Additionally, it has also been granted Approved Carrier status from the US Department of Homeland Security, easing entry into the USA for passengers holding a passport from a participating country in the US Visa Waiver Program.

The approval means that passengers from participating countries, flying on Jet Exchange’s Challenger 604, only require a valid passport and ESTA for entry. The aircraft is configured to sleep up to five passengers under high quality linens, making it particularly well-suited for overnight journeys.

Ian Austin, Managing Director, Jet Exchange, says: “Our new Challenger 604 provides a convenient and cost effective option in the market for trans-Atlantic charter trips, be it for business in Boston or shopping in New York. As an Approved Carrier, brokers can now be sure that their clients can enjoy easy entry into the US while travelling in bespoke comfort and luxury. Our experienced crew have already done a number of USA tours covering the full length and breadth of the continent, ensuring the highest levels of service.”

The approvals follow a period of rapid growth for Luton Airport-based Jet Exchange, which recently acquired its own AOC and now operates a variety of aircraft ranging from mid-range jets to European turboprops. Jet Exchange also holds authorisation from Defra to fly pets into the UK via Biggin Hill.
