Longstanding Isuzu customer, Roofing Supplies Group has taken delivery of two N35.125 (T) Grafters from local dealer Warrington Vehicle Centre, to support the expanding operations of two new locations in Wallsend and Stockton-on-Tees. These vehicles will operate under the North East Roofing Supplies banner, strengthening the level of support in the area.
The company’s relationship with Isuzu spans more than two decades, having worked closely with Warrington Vehicle Centre from the outset. It currently operates a fleet of 37 commercial vehicles, including six Isuzu Grafters and six 7.5-tonne Isuzu trucks, each used to deliver specialist roofing materials.
Matt Roberts, Managing Director of Roofing Supplies Group, says: “We’ve operated Isuzu vehicles since the beginning. Both the 3.5-tonners and 7.5-tonners in our fleet have proven themselves time and again with their reliability, payload capacity and performance. Add on the outstanding aftersales service, and there was no question about choosing Isuzu for this latest order.”
The two new 3.5-tonne Grafters are long wheelbase models, fitted with Brit-Tipp aluminium dropside bodies to accommodate transporting bulky roofing materials. They also feature twin rear wheels for increased strength, stability and traction.
“Warrington Vehicle Centre has been amazing. They handle everything for us and even make introductions to other local Isuzu dealers to support assets we base beyond their area of responsibility, so we always have great local service on our doorstep. It’s just another way they go above and beyond to prioritise customer needs,” adds Roberts.
The 3.5-tonners will be on the road five days per week and are expected to cover 30,000 miles annually and remain on the fleet for at least five years. Both chassis are covered by the manufacturer’s three-year, unlimited mileage warranty. This includes 24/7 roadside assistance and access to Isuzu Truck UK’s Customer CARE team.
Roofing Supplies Group, trading as North East Roofing Supplies and North West Roofing Supplies, respectively, opened its doors in 2001 and has steadily grown to now operate from 10 locations across the North of England.
