Lancashire-based Hodgson Tool Hire has taken delivery of two new 3.5-tonne Isuzu N35.125 Grafters from local dealer Ditchburn Truck Services, strengthening a relationship between the three companies that has spanned nearly a decade.
Finished in Hodgson Tool Hire’s distinct green livery and mounted with durable dropside bodies and tail-lifts from Brit-Tipp, the new Grafters will support plant hire delivery services across the North West of England. Replacing identical 3.5-tonners coming to the end of service, the new vehicles will ensure the company’s six-strong commercial fleet continues to operate efficiently while looking its best.
Callum Hodgson, Business Manager of Hodgson Tool Hire, says: “We’ve been running Isuzu Grafters since 2017, and they’ve consistently proven to be reliable workhorses – which is critical for our type of business. On the road six days per week, the vehicles will take on an intensive workload from day one, often towing tandem-axle trailers. They will transport a wide range of plant equipment, scaffolding poles and other specialist tools to customer sites. Hodgson Tool Hire expects the Grafters to remain in its fleet for at least four years.
The chassis are supplied with the manufacturer’s three-year unlimited mileage warranty, which includes 24/7 roadside assistance and access to personalised support from the Isuzu Truck UK Customer CARE Team, combining to provide total peace of mind for busy operators.
A family-run business established in 1997, Hodgson Tool Hire now operates from two depots in Burscough and Ainsdale. The company stocks more than 1,000 tools, alongside a variety of plant equipment, all available for hire and sale.
