Landscaping and grounds maintenance contractor, Glendale Countryside, has introduced 20 new 3.5-tonne Isuzu N35.125(S) ‘Grafters’ to its commercial vehicle fleet, continuing a long-standing relationship between the two businesses dating back more than a decade.
The 20 4×2 chassis cabs, which all feature tipper bodies from Brit-Tipp, are split evenly between new additions for a contract with Mid Sussex District Council and replacements for older vehicles. Day-to-day, they will primarily be used for the removal of litter and green waste – including tree, hedge, and grass trimmings – though they will also transport landscaping machinery from site to site.

Glendale Countryside operates a 450-strong mixed commercial vehicle fleet, including around 100 Isuzus. For the first time, the company has specified 10 of its new Grafters with an automatic transmission, making them ideally suited to work in stop/start urban areas.
All of the new vehicles are covered by Isuzu Truck’s comprehensive three-year warranty, with all service and maintenance to be undertaken within the manufacturer’s dealer network. Mostly working five days per week, each of the new Grafters is expected to clock up around 10,000 miles per year.
