Connick Tree Care has continued a 27-year relationship with Isuzu after taking delivery of its latest 3.5-tonne N35.125 Grafter, a new addition to the fleet that will support business growth, with two more set to join the business in early 2026 that will replace older vehicles.
The new 3.5-tonners will join a commercial vehicle fleet almost exclusively supplied by Isuzu Truck UK, including 28 Grafters and eight 7.5-tonne N-Series rigids, all mounted with custom arboriculture tipper bodywork from Southern Vehicle Bodies. The new additions are built to operate with a towed Brushwood Chipper unit, and feature a tool pod mounted behind the cab for secure, convenient storage.
Dan Pennington, Managing Director of Connick Tree Care, says: “We purchased our first Grafter in 1998, and we’ve never really looked back. The combination of a solid, dependable chassis with our particular arb body design is perfect for the type of work we do. There’s nothing else on the market that would suit us better.
“Tree surgery and arboriculture work can be very hard on a fleet, but we find that every Isuzu we’ve ever run has always been up to the test.”
All of Connick Tree Care’s Isuzu chassis are supplied with the manufacturer’s three-year unlimited mileage warranty, which includes 24/7 roadside assistance, alongside access to the company’s dedicated Customer CARE Team and its extensive dealer network.

Operating out of the company’s Reigate headquarters, the new Grafters will be on the road up to six days per week, averaging 25,000 miles annually. Each will remain in service for four years, before being replaced as part of the company’s fleet renewal programme.
