Commercial fleet services provider, Fraikin, has strengthened its senior leadership team with the appointment of Craig Douglas as Chief Financial & Transformation Officer – a new role within the business – alongside the promotion of John Cunningham to Chief Operating Officer.
In his new dual role, Douglas will be tasked with enhancing Fraikin’s long-term sustainability goals, while ensuring its commitment to continuous improvement. His remit also includes accelerating the implementation of strategic initiatives to unlock new opportunities for growth.
Speaking on his appointment, Douglas says: “The automotive industry is evolving rapidly, and Fraikin is taking proactive steps to stay ahead of the curve. Our focus is on delivering smart, flexible solutions that support our customers’ unique business requirements and long-term ambitions.
“Through digital innovation, smarter asset management and evolving service models, we’re creating sustainable and scalable pathways for growth. I’m excited to be working with a team that’s deeply committed to excellence and to genuinely helping our customers.”
Douglas joins Fraikin from a similar role at BMI Group, bringing with him a wealth of experience from senior positions at KPMG and PwC. His background in enterprise leadership and assurance guarantees he is well placed to help both Fraikin and its customers confidently navigate the road ahead.
John Cunningham takes on his new role following more than 30 years of service at Fraikin. Having joined the business in 1994, he has held several high-profile managerial positions – most recently Customer and Fleet Solutions Director. As Chief Operating Officer, his new remit includes vehicle supply chain and procurement functions, in addition to overseeing Fraikin’s customer service and technical operations.
Cunningham says: “Having been a part of Fraikin for more than three decades, I’m proud to take on this new role at such a pivotal time for the business and our industry.
“Our customers rely on Fraikin to deliver consistently and efficiently, and I’m looking forward to working with the supply chain, procurement and operations teams to ensure we continue to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations.”
