CENTRIK STRENGTHENS SUPPORT FOR NATIONAL AVIATION AUTHORITIES WITH NEW SENIOR APPOINTMENT

Operational management system supplier, Centrik, has appointed David Russell as Aviation Authority Lead, in a move designed to further strengthen the levels of support the system provides National Aviation Authorities (NAAs) across the globe.

Formerly a military pilot with the Royal Navy, Russell brings with him more than 40 years’ experience in the industry, including 14 years managing Flight Operations at the UK CAA and most recently four years on international assignments with CAAi, working as an aviation safety consultant to a number of national authorities, including Thailand, Spain and Kuwait.

He says of his appointment: “No two aviation authorities are the same, but at a base level each one is interested in ensuring the safety of their people, their aircraft and their flight crews – and through Centrik, they already have all the tools they need to do exactly that.
