Caerdav has launched its new operator support service, by establishing a dedicated line maintenance station for ASL Airlines France.
The new facility, located at Cardiff Airport, will provide routine maintenance for ASL Airlines France Boeing 737 NG aircraft, operating on wet-lease for other airlines.
Yves Groshenry, Technical Director, ASL Airlines France, says: “Our aircraft will be operating according to a very intensive schedule out of Cardiff Airport, where downtime simply isn’t an option. Caerdav’s dedicated line maintenance station provides us with world-class engineering at the most convenient location possible, meeting our ongoing objective of strengthening and maintaining a high quality of service for our customers.”
Caerdav’s team of skilled technicians will be based onsite until September, enabling ASL Airlines France to maximise aircraft utilisation over the busy summer holiday season. The team will operate on a 24-hour basis, ensuring all maintenance, repairs and mandatory checks are carried out quickly and effectively.
Joachim Jones, CEO, Caerdav, says: “With our highly qualified team, we can easily establish line maintenance stations wherever required, worldwide.”
In addition to line maintenance, Caerdav also now provides a global rapid-response AOG (aircraft on ground) service, supplying parts and engineering for aircraft unexpectedly grounded by technical faults.
