ATS Euromaster is urging operators of Britain’s four million vans to ensure their vehicles don’t get a bad case of winter weather-related downtime, with a £20 multi-point van check designed to help immunise against ‘van flu’.
The check, conducted by ATS Euromaster’s expert technicians, provides an investigation of a van’s critical components, such as the tyres, brakes and battery, designed to identify any areas that could be badly affected by cold weather, plus a top-up of oil and screenwash.
The check provides complete peace of mind to van drivers, fleet managers and business owners – crucial at a time of year which sees more than 130 million parcels requiring delivery, predominantly via van. With more than four million vans on UK roads, maintaining their health is crucial for supporting the British economy.
Peter Fairlie, Retail & Fleet Director, ATS Euromaster, says: “With the NHS recommending flu jabs for critical workers, we’re extending the idea to critical vehicles. Vans are the backbone of British business, and will be subject to strain over the winter period from inclement weather and an increase in parcel deliveries in the run-up to Christmas. Don’t let a bad case of van flu freeze your business.”
Following the inspection, the ATS Euromaster technician will provide a diagnosis and no-obligation advice on any vital treatments which might be needed. If required, the vehicle can then be booked in for any remedial work – helping to protect the van against expensive ‘sick leave’ at a later date.
Fairlie adds: “An ATS Euromaster multi-point van flu check is the perfect vaccine against winter woes and means that whatever the weather, your van is far less likely to let you or your business down.”
‘Clinic’ appointments can either be pre-booked online, or requested on a same-day basis in local centres, subject to availability. The 20-point health checks are being offered across ATS Euromaster’s network of more than 300 centres nationwide.
