Growing passenger transport business LandFlight Travel Services has added a new Yutong GT-12 coach to its fleet via Asset Alliance Group to service a corporate commuting contract extension.
The latest vehicle, taken via a seven-year hire purchase deal, is in addition to ten Alexander Dennis single-deck service buses that the vehicle finance specialist has supplied to the Solihull-business over the last few years.
Trevor Baker, General Manager at LandFlight Travel Services, says: “We started dealing with Asset Alliance Group just after the last Covid lockdown, and we’ve never looked back. It’s vital that we get new vehicles in on time so that we can prep them ahead of the start of their respective contracts, and they have never let us down.”
The newly delivered 53-seat + 1, PSVAR compliant executive coach is fitted with a PACCAR MX-11 450hp engine, ZF axles, air-suspension, and wears Michelin 295/80 R22.5 tyres. It will be used exclusively on the corporate commuting contract for a local company.
Taking the coach on hire purchase has allowed LandFlight Travel Services to spread the cost of the purchase in a tax efficient manner, while handling the vehicle’s maintenance in-house.
For its service buses, the public transport operator prefers rental agreements, which provide greater flexibility around the typically shorter contracts to run scheduled services for local authorities. The business is due to take four more buses – a mix of additions and fleet renewals – on the same terms from the Group this year.
The transport business has been supported by Paul Fairbanks, Business Development Manager for Coach and Bus, covering Wales and the Midlands for Asset Alliance Group.
LandFlight Travel Services has a 45-strong vehicle fleet and 80 staff. It operates 24/7 and provides airport and executive travel, private hire, ‘home to work’ transport and scheduled bus services.
The Yutong’s livery was applied by local firm Baker Ward.

Note to editors:
Asset Alliance Group has redefined the way companies acquire transport and logistics vehicles and occupies a unique position in the market, as it uses its own funds and significant buying power to supply bus and coach vehicles on any combination of operating lease, finance lease, hire purchase or rental. This flexibility, combined with a transparent and consultative approach, helps customers drive maximum efficiency from their fleets.
Asset Alliance Group also stands out for maintaining full control of residual risk through its retail arm, which protects customers from overly strict return conditions commonplace in the industry.
The Group operates across five UK sites and is headquartered in Wolverhampton.
